T-Mobile has been forced to change their marketing practices as a result of a court ordered injunction filed by Vodafone questioning the legality of their sales practices as related to the iPhone.
The court has prohibited T-Mobile from continuing to sell the iPhone only in combination with a two-year contract and it has demanded that the product be allowed to function in networks other than those of T-Mobile. This will clearly impact current sales and marketing practices for T-Mobile Deutschland, but they must comply until the hearing expected to take place in two weeks at a Hamburg court.
