When questioned if Motorola was ready for the competition from the iPhone, Motorola's CEO Ed Zander replied, "How do you deal with that? How do they deal with us?"
Zander promised "wickedly cool" products in the coming months. Motorola is planning on releasing a high-end mobile phone in Europe next week that "has unbelievable video capability". Zander went on to say, "It's a media monster."
Motorola's entered the smartphone market last year with their Moto Q and they are expected to release a follow-up this summer, dubbed the Moto Q 9h.
