Live Demo Showcases iPhone Features

For those who missed this piece by CBS News, it features Apple Inc's Phil Schiller providing a live demo of the many features of the iPhone. According to Schiller, "it is the most advanced phone ever made".

One interesting note is regarding email setup. In the demo, Phil Schiller mentions the iPhone will grab email configurations from the end users existing desktop accounts. This will eliminate the need to manually configure email accounts on the iPhone.

Visual Voicemail

This is a small, yet groundbreaking feature. No longer do you have to dial-in to your wireless provider and wade through your messages. Let's say you have 5 voicemail messages, Visual Voicemail will allow you to select and listen to any voicemail in the order of your choice. This feature will allow users to prioritize their voicemail.
