A few weeks back, LG Electronics release what had appeared to be an iPhone clone when in fact the design was actually unveiled in September of 2006. Woo-Young Kwak, head of LG Mobile Research and Developement was quoted at 3GSM saying, "We consider that Apple copycat the Prada phone after the design was unveiled when it was presented in the iF Design Award and won the prize in September 2006. We take that to mean Apple stole our idea."

The Prada phone features a 400x240 touchscreen, support for GSM 900/1800/1900/EDGE, 2 megapixel camera, LED flash and Bluetooth 2.0. The interface uses Flash for the UI and a minimalist black and white look.
