Piper Jaffray senior analyst Gene Munster expects Apple to ship the iPhone in the next 4 to 6 months.
According to the research note, the rumored device could sell between 8 and 12 million units if it debuts at the MacWorld Expo in January of 2007."While we do not expect Apple to announce a phone tomorrow, we continue to expect Apple will ship the 'iPhone' within the next 4-6 months," wrote Munster.
Munster has no solid evidence that Apple will release the iPhone, outside of Apple's registration of the iPhone.org domain name and the trademark name "Mobile Me". Source: MacNN
