Best Buy To Sell iPhone 3G

Starting on September 7th, Best Buy will begin selling the iPhone 3G along AT&T service. Best Buy has always offered AT&T plans and phones, but they had not been able to offer the iPhone.

Best Buy will offer the iPhone 3G in 970 full-size stores throughout the US and 16 smaller Best Buy Mobile stores. Previously, the iPhone 3G had only been available through either Apple or AT&T. "We had a lot of work to do, obviously, to get in a position where Apple and AT&T would feel good about Best Buy Mobile carrying it, and that's what we've done in the last 18 months," said Shawn Score, president of Best Buy Mobile.
