According to a source at AT&T, the iPhone display is a massive 7ft tall and 3ft wide. Additionally, it requires a network connection and a dedicated power supply. With a dedicated network connection, Apple can drive all types of marketing messages and screens that show the many features of the new iPhone. Once these start appearing in your local AT& stores, you can expect the hype surrounding the iPhone release to hit new highs. The Apple iPhone is slated to cost $599 for the 8GB version and $499 for the 4GB.
