Apple Agrees To iPhone Deals With 3 European Telecoms

According to a report from the Financial Times website, Apple has made deals with three European mobile phone operators for exclusive sales of the iPhone.

The contract was finalized by Deutsche Telekom AG's mobile unit, France Telecom SA unit Orange and the UK's O2 Secure Wireless, Inc. Those familiar with the deals spoke with the Financial Times sister publication FT Deutschland. The deal will have the European telecommunications companies net Apple 10% of the revenues made from calls and data transfers by customers over iPhones. According to the FT report.T-Mobile, Orange and O2 are set to officially announce their partnerships with Apple at the IFA trade fair in Berlin at the end of August.
