AT&T Employee Vacation Plans Spark 3G iPhone Release Rumors

A rumored release date of July 22nd has surfaced for the greatly anticipated Palm Treo 800w along with impressive specifications.

According to an internal memo, executives at AT&T expect heavier than normal customer traffic during this time period and are providing an "an exciting Summer Promotional Launch". Apple's WWDC takes place on June 9th, so we're going to be among that many that assume this is in preparation for the 3G iPhone release. In addition to the iPhone, we've got our eye on other mobile devices and nothing outside of the HTC Touch Diamond is sparking the excitement that might necessitate a change in employee vacation plans. However, that phone isn't scheduled for release in the US until later this year.
