Apple has reportedly purchased the domain iPhone.com from Michael Kovatch for more than $1 million according to DomainTools report.

The domain now redirects to Apple's iPhone page. Kovatch, who owns several other high-profile domains such as Wine.net and Golf.net, bought the iPhone.com domain in 1995. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it is speculated the price exceed $1 million.
