Apple Joins Phone Standards Group

Apple has joined the Khronos Group, an industry body for standardizing mobile phone applications.

Also belong to this group are wireless stalwarts Nokia and Sony Ericsson. Joining this group just fuels more speculation regarding the forthcoming release of the Apple iPhone.
