French blog NowhereElse.fr has continued its string of interest part leaks with another look at the upcoming miniature dock connector cable. These leaked shots seem to be of a very final looking piece of hardware — though one oddly surrounded by advertising for the Chinese brand Meizu.
The pictures show that the mini dock connector to be the same size as a micro USB, which really gives a feel for just how tiny it is. Also, if these images prove to be correct, this confirms that the new connector seems to have 8 pins, and then the metal construction of the plug functioning as the 9th pin.
But the big thing I’m looking forward to with this new mini dock connector? It doesn’t matter which direction you plug it in, it’ll still work! Yes!
