iLounge’s resident tipster has hooked them up with a bunch of new rumors, which vary from reasonably believable, to not so much.
iPods: Three new models, somewhere between this month and September. The rumor says there will be a new nano, a new touch, and something they’re not sure about — possibly the weird touchscreen shuffle we’ve heard some rumors of in months past.
iPad: A seven-inch iPad mini, for announcement in late 2010/early 2011. 9 to 5 Mac has a source that’s telling them it will be seven inches, but will use a Retina Display, and have 1590×1900 resolution, and a front-facing camera.
iPhone: Apparently, Apple has pushed forward the release for the iPhone 5 to next January, due to the antennae brouhaha. It might be a completely new phone, or it might just be a new exterior to stop antenna attenuation.
Bumper Cases: Apple might be working a new, only silicone Bumper Case for the iPhone 4, that they will continue to give out for free after the September shutoff for free cases. These would be easier and cheaper to produce.
We’re calling for great big mounds of salt for these rumors. The cases and iPods I can see, but the bumped forward iPhone update I think is unlikely. The iPad one is interesting, because more than one source has commented on this, and the idea of a Retina Display iPad is incredibly tempting.
What do you think? Weigh in in the comments, below.

I can see Apple pushing an updated external version of the i4. Not too sure how this would fly with the people, like myself, that already have an i4. I could care less as I really like the phone.
As an owner of the iP4, I would be pretty disappointed if they came out with a new version and didn’t really give a permanent fix to the current owners of the phone.
I agree. It doesn’t show much respect to your customers if you make their product “old” only six months after they paid out a lot of money for it.
I think that: the iPods as described are a real thing
No way on iP4 exept that maybe A Tmobile Version will drop around that time
Don’t get the reason for a 7 inch iPad mini…if anything apple is been already at work on the next iPad due next year
Well with all the China knock offs out there (Apad, iPed etc). You can now get a 7″ Apad for about $120.00 and it runs Android has USB support and can use a SD card.
I agree. That would be total BS. They could save more money by just giving current owners a fix or a replacement upgraded version.
Where can I get an Apad?
Do a search in Google there all over the place.
