When Apple announced the iPhone 5, they also announced a new iPod Touch and iPod Nano, with the nebulous ship date of October. Well, October is well and truly here, when are these getting sent out? Various reports are claiming that the Australian Store briefly had the iPod Nano as shipping in two weeks, and the iPod Touch as shipping in three.
As of right now, that same store is now just saying “October” again, but it looks like this might be the start of readying for the new generations of the iPod Touch and iPod Nano. Users on both Cult of Mac and 9to5 are claiming that their cards have been charged for pre-orders, and that the iPods are preparing for shipment.
While these dates aren’t official, it really does appear that the new iPod Nano and iPod Touch will be on their way in the very near future.
