As spotted by CNET, Apple appears to have caught up with demand on the new iPad, as the ship time has dropped to 5-7 business days, across all models and configurations. At its worst, waits were at a couple of weeks in March, but none of that compares to the extended delays in obtaining the iPad 2 last year.
Today is also the day the new iPad debuts in 12 other countries across the globe, so if I had to put money on it, I’d say Apple has the supply chain for the new iPad firmly under control. If Apple is successfully keeping shipping dates in the USA down, as well as launching in even more countries, they seem to have everything in hand.
