Previously reported by the WSJ, iMore now confirms through their sources that the iPad 3 will include support for 4G LTE when it is announced on March 7th. The same source was responsible for pinpointing the March 7th release date and at the time suggested that support for 4G was “possible”.
Not the craziest thing we’ve heard, considering AT&T and Verizon are looking to ramp up 4G LTE this year. The iPad 3 would support both 3G/4G, given the lack of LTE coverage in many areas. It’s not clear how this would affect international markets.
Over the weekend, iPad 3 price and storage capacities were revealed and a culmination of parts has the iPad 3 looking very similar to the iPad 2.
Getting amped up for Wednesday, where can put the rumors to bed and see the big iPad 3 reveal?
