At this point, we’re all pretty well resigned to what the new iPhone will look like — barring the greatest ever bait and switch the world has ever seen. Nonetheless, all the information that’s coming out is really useful for us to get a better grasp of the final design before it really does launch. Here’s some of the new stuff that’s landed recently.

iPhone parts company eTrade Supply has put up a blog post detailing the glass front of the new iPhone — and they get into some pretty precise information. Time to dust off those calipers, because this’ll show you everything you want to know about that front piece of glass — namely that it’s a bit longer.

Neowin has up some shots of someone in Thailand handling some sort of mockup of the new iPhone. Again, most likely a prototype, and this seems in keeping with every other leak we’ve seen.

  1. i love my i phone, but this stretched version seems a little like a cheat. i expected a new form / case, not just a photoshop “transform”

  2. If your previous report is that the glass was just coming to the factory in August….do we really think this is the true screen?

  3. Yeah I’m not feeling the stretched look so much. I’m hoping they make it a bit more wide along with the stretch.

  4. I love the Leaked iphone hype but it has been my experience that all are never correct when it is said and done. In the last two release, I have gone back and looked at sites who claimed they had a leak and all were incorrect. The only thing that I have seen to be true were pricing plans and iOS improvements. The hype is nice but I place no real intrest in them. @NFLion
