This morning saw the first rumors of the iPad 2 having a new, large speaker to explain the large hole seen in many cases. Another iPad 2 case has been spotted, in which the mockup shows a large speaker on the rear of the iPad. This is obviously not a real shot of the iPad 2, but the company making these cases appear to believe that the opening on the rear of the case is for a speaker.
Am I the only person who’s extremely saddened that this will be a larger speaker, and not an SD slot, like previously theorized? Apple has previously shown their willingness to have SD inputs, as can be seen on the MacBook Pro, and having that on the iPad 2 would be excellent.

I can’t imagine there being a speaker on the back. Laying the ipad down would muffle the sound!
