Reports are coming in that a number of iPads in England have been sent out slightly early, giving some lucky customers their tablet before they were meant to. However, their data accounts aren’t up and running yet, so they’re stuck on Wi-Fi mode for a couple of days, even though they have 3G iPads. Owch, that kind of sucks. At least it’s only for a few days.
For iPad users in Australia, Vodafone has released its pricing for data, and its surprisingly reasonable. $50 Australian for unlimited data per month? That’s not too bad. You can also get 4GB for $30, which you’ll probably be hard pressed to go over. Additionally, there’s $10/250MB; $15/1GB; $100/6GB (good for 180 days); and $150 for 12GB (good for one year).
