Mitt Romney To Announce VP Pick Via Smartphone App

Remember how Obama officially announced his pick of Biden over text message? Yeah, that was totally a thing, and now Mitt Romney has gone a step further, and will make the announcement via a dedicated smartphone app.

The app is called Mitt’s VP, and will send the notification to you via a Push alert if you have the app. You do need to sign in to the app, using either your Facebook or “MyMitt” account. No, I have no idea what that is, either.

On the flip side of the aisle, President Obama’s campaign team have launched Obama for America, which is designed to help rally supporters and organize volunteers.
