Microsoft has confirmed (via ZDNet) that the Office for Mac 2011 suite will be available for purchase on October 26th. Pre-orders start today on Amazon. Office for Mac 2011 was RTM (released to manufacturing) on September 10th. Upgrading? Sticking with your current version of Office or going with Apple’s iWork in an attempt to keep your Mac Microsoft-free? Let us know in the comments.

I have the Beta and I love it! Will def be buying!!
If they were offering upgrade pricing I might consider it. Though, really, Office 2008 often gets pretty bogged down – I’m not sure I’d trust Microsoft to release an updated application suite that actually runs better than the one before…
