File this under awesome, and too much time on your hands. Bhautik Joshi banged together a mount for his iPhone, that will take any Canon SLR lens. With some sticky putty, PVC, cardboard and of course a whole lot of duct tape, he created a case which allows him to mount on the Canon lenses. Being a good maker, he detailed the entire process in an online tutorial.
In my mind, the coolest part is the overall result. The images are extremely vignetted, with weird aberrations and lens distortion, creating images that look like Lomo photography. It’s pretty cool, and not at all what you’d expect to see.
