Mag+ Tablet Concept Impresses The Hell Out Of Us

Bonnier, publisher of Popular Science and other magazines, have released a concept for a tablet interface, which we think is pretty damned impressive. The design was done by BERG, and it seems as though the company put a large amount of thought into the way people actually use magazines, and how to translate that into a tablet. At this point, it’s just a concept design, but this is exactly the sort of thing we’d love to see on an actual tablet, that take specific account of the way people use traditional media, and the way they consume data online. My only qualms would be how such an image and transition heavy system might kill battery life.
