If you’re anything like me, 8+ hours a day of computer use have left you with the posture of a Dickensian geriatric. Sure, you could fix it by exercise, and possibly transitioning to a standing desk, or you could buy another gadget! Today’s Kickstarter is Lumoback, a sensor you strap around your body to measure your posture and communicate with your iPhone.
The sensor is meant to strap comfortably to your back, and give you a bit of a buzz when you slouch — be it while sitting, standing, or exercising. You can then use the iPhone app to track the information, and get all that wonderful granular data that everyone loves.
You can get in on the action for $115 — and who knows, maybe this’ll stop your mother from bugging you to sit up straight.
