If you ever wanted to take another swing at learning some science skills as an adult, you’ve probably heard of the Khan Academy, an incredible free resource of lectures on a huge range of subjects. Generally rooted in the sciences, it’s a fantastic resource if you ever decide you want to actually try and understand the basics of statistics. And now it’s available on the iPhone.

In an update to their iPad app from earlier this year, the official Khan Academy app is now universal, and can show all 3,500+ videos on the iPhone.

Unfortunately, the handheld size version of the app doesn’t allow you to login and track your progress the way that you can on the iPad — which also allows greater offline capabilities. It looks like the iPad version might still win out if you want to do more than just watch a lecture or two on your commute home.
