Jony Ive Awarded Blue Peter badge

Jonathan Ive, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Industrial Design, was awarded the Blue Peter badge. The distinguished award has only be given out 1,000 times , with high profile recipients that include David Beckham, JK Rowling and The Queen.

“Sir Jonathan Ive is an inspiration to children around the world and we were ecstatic to hear his comments and design advice to our viewers who will remember such feedback for a lifetime,” said Ewan Vinnicombe, Acting Editor of Blue Peter

Ive was born in London. The television show will air on Saturday, February 16th.
