Maybe. Maybe not. They might be working on a unicorn to replace Siri. This morning an analyst suggested that Apple could rollout a smaller, cheaper iPhone mini. Note the emphasis on ‘could’. These days the mere mention of a new Apple product, albeit fictitious, turns into an actual rumor covered by respected publications. One headline reads,”Rumors Start to Bubble for iPhone mini“.
What happened this morning was not a rumor, but a random analyst who thought it might be a good idea to produce a cheap iPhone for the lower end market. A rumor is an inside source, a leaked part or everyone’s favorite, a supplier who spoke to DigiTimes about an upcoming part order for a new product. If we all believed analysts, we’d be watching Apple televisions in our living rooms while browsing the web on our Apple Mac Netbooks.
Wouldn’t it be great if Apple was working on a unicorn that could change the channels on my Apple television?
