Spotted by the good folks at Mac Stories, Apple appears to be re-introducing the ‘explicit’ category for the app store. The ‘explicit’ category popped up in February of this year, only to quickly vanish, and it now seems to have raised its head again. While the links now seem to have lost their function, earlier if you clicked here or here, you would have been taken to a blank category for “top explicit paid software” and “top explicit iPad software”. This adds further fuel to the fire that Apple is planning on allowing adult content back into the app store, just tucked away in a little corner where it can’t pervert the minds of the young and innocent.
