As part of KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kua’s report this morning, we learned that the iPod Touch may be getting an identical screen to the new iPhone. Now, another report has surfaced with similar claims, this time from Japanese blog MacOtakara, and also includes rumors about the under-the-hood upgrades, too.
According to the report, not only will the iPod Touch get a 4-inch LCD to match the new iPhone, but it’ll get a specs bump to the level of the iPhone 4S, and a buffed aluminum body, in either black or white. There’s also a mysterious hole on the back of the iPod Touch, which is described as:
This source told, this iPod touch has an additional hole on lower part of back case rather than camera, and told he has no idea about this hole for what.
I’ve got no idea what that could be. Any guesses?
