Analyst Shaw Wu of Kaufman Bros. sent out a note to investors, in which he said Apple may be working on a small, click-wheel-less redesign of the iPod Nano. He based this info on sources who said Apple was procuring parts with this in mind.
“We frankly are not sure if this model will see the light of day. But this would be a big departure from the design it has had since 2005 when it replaced the iPod mini. From our take, a radical refresh may make sense to jumpstart what was once its top-selling iPod.”
He also doesn’t believe that the September 1st event will introduce a new AppleTV, due to the advertising using a guitar motif.
