Japanese blog Macotakara has posted a report that indicates two very interesting pieces of information. Firstly, that the iPad Mini will in fact be called the iPad Mini, not the iPad Air, which was another name being bandied about. They claim that the device will, however, just have the word iPad emblazoned across the back.
The other section of the report is with regards to the iPod Nano, which is claimed will get a Wi-Fi chip. The inclusion of wireless in a Nano would not only get the device onto iCloud, but also mean that it’s one less thing you have to sync via cable.
The iPad Mini and overhauled iPod line are expected to be announced together come October.
