Do Not Disturb is a great little feature in iOS that stops incoming messages, alerts, and phonecalls in between certain hours of the day — meaning you get all that precious sleep that you so desperately need. However, some users are reporting that in the New Year, Do Not Disturb hasn’t turned itself off again. So their phones are being very quiet on New Year’s day — perhaps in respect of all the inevitable hangovers.
If you don’t know if Do Not Disturb is active or if it’s just you’re really unpopular, look for the little moon icon at the top of your iPhone. If it’s there, then Do Not Disturb is currently running. To get around this bug, just disable then re-enable Do Not Disturb, and everything should be back to normal.
