This morning, AllThingsD reported that the iPhone 4 was the most popular camera on Flickr — a fact the rest of the tech world talked about almost a year ago. This, however, prompted me to go back to the source and have a look at Flickr’s own numbers on camera popularity — and lo and behold, the iPhone 4 has been dethroned! The incredibly popular Canon 5D Mark II has replaced it, even though 5D Mark III is just about to head to stores.
Also interesting? The iPhone 4 seems to be slowly losing ground in the cameraphone stakes, and the iPhone 4S is beginning to catch up.
