People who pre-ordered the LTE version of the iPad mini have been patiently waiting, holding out for the official word from Apple about when the device would be on its way to them. Thankfully, we’re seeing reports that the Apple has started emailing said customers, and telling them it’ll head out in the “next five business days”.
Apple typically waits up until the last minute to give buyers tracking numbers, however, there is a workaround that’ll allow you to get it a bit earlier. We’ve covered this technique before, and you can use your phone number and zip code to “track by reference” through Fedex and UPS. While the tablets may not have been sent out quite yet, that method may get you your information before Apple sends it directly.
