Ooh, juicy rumor time. Everyone’s favorite big box store (unless you’re boycotting them over their political support of certain candidates) might just be getting the iPad in the near future. We’re hearing muttering that Target is going to be getting in something that’s exactly the same price as an iPad on October 3rd, which would be found in the Digital Audio section of the store, where ebook readers are usually found.
Is this definite? nope, not at all, but it’s certainly a tantalizing hint. It could easily be any other device at that price, but Apple has previously been quite happy to sell its mobile devices through big box stores, so this would hardly be a surprise.

the iPad is basically a big iPod Touch but that is why it works. the smaller form is really not good for many things. a lot of folks were complaining “if only it was bigger”. And they got it. And they are so happy they are buying them like crazy
