iPad Begins its Serious Entrance into Small Business

Around 75% of small businesses are now considering adding tablets to their technology portfolios, with the iPad coming in first place.  It was an inevitable path for the tablet market to take, and a predictable outcome for the world’s most popular tablet, the iPad, to be leading the charge.  The iPad is a truly versatile device and the small business world seeks to leverage it’s potential.  From a recent survey, small businesses plan to spend around $21,000 on tablets in the upcoming year.  This number varies with the size of the businesses surveyed.

It would seem there are eyes focused on the iPad in almost every category of business.  Tablets are even Being considered in businesses with less than 50 employees – 54% of them to be exact.  It will be interesting to see how small business leverages the potential of the tablet market and specifically, the iPad.
