Without any fanfare, Apple quietly unveiled a new feature for the iPad App Store. Matching the same feature available for the iPhone version, iPad Genius recommends apps based on your previous purchases. It’s essentially identical to the iPhone/iPod Touch version, just re-formated for the larger screen.
There is one cool new addition, and that’s the iPad Upgrades tab, which finds iPad versions of iPhone apps you already own, letting you take advantage of the bigger screen and beefier processor.
To activate the new feature, you just have to turn it on from the Featured section, and agree to Terms and Services. If there are apps you don’t want, you can just hit the “Not Interested” button, to whisk them away.
