iOS 6 Jailbreak evasi0n gets website, possible Super Sunday release

The jailbreak team has been working feverishly on delivering the long awaited jailbreaking of iOS 6.X. Testing for both Windows and Mac are finished, with some final testing being done prior to release. The name of the new jailbreak is evasi0n with website of the same name to provide updates on their progress. A Mac OS X aqua status bar shows them currently at 68% complete. Members have hinted that Super Bowl Sunday could be the release day.

In advance of the iOS 6 jailbreak, here are the requirements you’ll need in advance of Sunday. Of course, if you need help, you can always find a wealth of knowledge in our jailbreak forums.

  • 5 minutes
  • A computer running Windows XP or greater, Mac OS 10.5 or greater or Linux
  • An iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running iOS 6.0.X or iOS 6.1
  • Sync cable
