Popular photography app Instagram has updated to version 1.5, and with the new version comes a redesigned news feed, a new tilt-shift filter, email sharing, and more. Here’s what’s new:
- The News feed has been totally revamped—watch as the story of your friends on Instagram unfolds
- New Tilt-Shift effect—give your photos depth of field and realistic blur
- Email photos! Choose “Email” as a sharing option when taking a photo, the friends you choose will receive an email with your photo
- Tap and hold a username to @mention them
- You can now add geo locations to photos without naming the location
- Clean up of services list
- Performance improvements in filters
