Some users are reporting issues with a number of Apple services, most notably iCloud and iMessage — but also some iTunes services, and Apple websites. This issue first hit about an hour ago, and it appears as though services might slowly be returning.
Apple has issued an official statement, saying:
Users may be unable to access iCloud services. Normal service will be restored ASAP.
I’m personally not noticing any issues, but these are not services I frequently use. The outage also seems to be spotty, with it hitting some users, and not others. What say our readers? Anyone find Apple’s tools just not working for them this afternoon?
Update: Apparently, now fixed.
