When iOS 8 releases in the fall, it will bring with it a new, easier way to keep in touch with friends, family and business associates. Introduced in iOS 7 was a new way of multitasking, providing a new card view that showed active applications in their current state. This provided a window in the status of each app, which was much more useful than app icons. To accomodate the card view and show a useful number of apps per page, the apps are scaled down. For all of the new features in iOS 8, arguably the most exciting feature has go to be interactive notifications. In a matter of months, the concept of unlocking your iPhone to reply to a message, like a Facebook post or confirm a calendar event will seem flat out archaic. The concept is hardly anything new, available to jailbreakers using BiteSMS and to some extent, these interactions are available in Android.
