Pinterest is currently one of the biggest things around online — especially if you’re into decor in any way shape or form. A new collaboration between the magazine House Beautiful and company Digimarc has allowed for the first print magazine that is “Pinterest-enabled”.
Using a smartphone app, users can scan the first image of the “Kitchen of the Month” and be taken directly to a Pinterest board with more photos and information, and then re-pin to their hearts content.
What’s even cooler is that this whole technology is invisible to the naked eye, so unlike QR codes you don’t have an ugly barcode thing obscuring part of the page. You just snap a photo of the image, and it takes you to more information.
