Otterbox has amped up their line of rugged cases for the iPhone, debuting the new Armor series at CES, which their billing as their ‘toughest case yet’. It offers water protection up to 6.6 feet for up to 30 minutes and drops up to 10 feet to concrete. The minute you lay eyes on the metal clamps, you’ll realize this case means business. We were able to get some hands-on time with the iPhone 4/4S model, but they will also be releasing the Armor Series for iPhone 5.
As you’d imagine, all ports are completely protected from dust and outside elements. Where some rugged case systems require a few parts that need to be pieced together to form the case, the Armor series is simply a two-piece system allowing you to easily remove your iPhone. It will be available in assorted colors Black/Grey/Green, Black/Grey/Orange and Black/White/Blue.
The Otterbox Armor series will be available starting on February 22nd, priced at 99.95.
