Google has been on a streak of releases for iOS of late, and the newest entry on that list is YouTube Capture. As you might expect from its name, it’s an app that allows you to quickly capture video, and then upload to YouTube, and share it over other social media sites. You simply film, write a caption, select where to share it, and hit go. It’ll even upload in the background.
There are also some minor editing tools included in the app:
Have a shaky hand or bad lighting when recording your video? Touch it up easily with YouTube enhancements like color correction and stabilization, or trim the length and add free background music from YouTube.
Next question: why does this need to be a separate app? Couldn’t this just be part of the standard YouTube iOS app to begin with.
