Google Owned Motorola Mobility Files Patent Infringement Case Against Apple

The legal jousting between Apple and Android hardware manufacturers continued today, with a new round of patent infringement claims launched against Apple. Today’s claim comes from Google owned Motorola Mobility, who claim that Apple has violated seven of their patents. The most notable of which is Siri.

Also included in the complaint are location reminders, email notification and phone/video players. Motorola Mobility is seeking a ban of U.S. imports of the iPhone, iPad and Mac computers.

“We would like to settle these patent matters, but Apple’s unwillingness to work out a license leaves us little choice but to defend ourselves and our engineers’ innovations,” said Motorola.
