As part of a massive suite of announcements today from Google (including a new $199 tablet), comes an overhaul to the official Google+ app. Designed specifically for tablet use (as opposed to the current, iPhone only one), it’s available from today for Android tablets, with the iPad version “coming soon“.

Apparently, most of Google+’s traffic comes from mobile users, so a tablet based app seems to make an awful lot of sense. And it sounds pretty stunning. TNW reports

The tablet versions of Google+ completely turns the stream experience on its head. When you’re in landscape mode, you can swipe your way through your stream, as items are bunched together based on how popular they are. For example, if a photo in your stream has a lot of +1′s, it will show up slightly larger in your stream.

That sounds incredible and all, now, if only anyone used Google+.
