Like Game Dev Story? Like Star Trek? Like KickStarter? Check out Star Command, a space faring game in the tradition of Game Dev story, but instead of managing a studio, you’re running a starship. With 23 days to go on their funding round, Star Command has already passed their $20,000 goal, but there’s still a chance to throw some money their way, and pick up some cool swag. If you’re willing to fork over a whopping $1,000, they’ll even make an in-game character of you.
In the game, you build your own ship, recruit your crew, research new technologies, meet alien races, battle or make peace, and just generally do your best Picard impression as you roam around the galaxy being amazing.
Now that it’s funded, the game is pegged to come out this winter. Nice!

If the game is as comical as the video im in for the release. Don’t think I will be helping funding the creation though. The end of that video is hilarious.
