Fourth Gen iPhone Goes Missing, Investigated Worker Commits Suicide

Disturbing news today, as a report indicates that a 25 year old employee of Foxconn reportedly committed suicide after being investigated when a fourth generation iPhone he was responsible for went missing. Apple is known for keeping tight security and this extends throughout their supply chain. To date, nothing has been seen or heard of the fourth generation iPhone.

The worker, Sun Danyong, was a recent engineering graduate and was handling product communications for Foxconn in Hong Kong. Danyong was tasked with shipping iPhone prototypes from Foxconn to Apple.

According to reports in Chinese news outlets, Danyong received 16 iPhone prototypes from the assembly line on July 9th. Over the next few days, he discovered one was missing and suspected it was left at the factory. On the following Monday, he reported the missing phone. On Wednesday, three Foxconn employees searched his apartment. Some accusations say he was detained and physically abused. On Thursday around 3 a.m, surveillance video in his apartment building show the man jumping from his apartment window to his death.
