Apple has updated its iPhone 5 site with a new, 2-minute video of the day the iPhone 5 launched. An unauthorized version made its way to YouTube (linked above), but click through to see the video in high quality.
The video is one of those wonderful, high quality, feel good montages that Apple does so well, packing hours of tedium and lining up into a couple of minutes of excitement and joy. Even though it’s so easy to feel cynical about the act of queueing to buy a gadget, looking at how happy all those people are sort of makes it worth it.
And, it’s nice to see some footage of New York City that isn’t underwater.
