Why some moivies kick back out to the menu...

This was driving me nut for the first week that I had my iphone. Keep in mind I have Vista on my main machine.

All the movies I synced with the iPhone would randomly bump me back out to the main menu when I would watch them. This includes movies I have bought off of itunes. I tried all kinds of converters, but it was the same problem. I have a laptop with XP, so I decided to convert it from there. Converted and uploaded from XP and it worked perfect. SoI did another test. I converted on my Vista Machine, moved the movie to my XP machine and uploaded from there. It worked perfectly.

So.......Vista corrupts the video file somehow when you upload it from there. It has nothing to do with the encoding. The problem stems from what operating system you use to upload through itunes.

This is what happened to me, so it might not be the same for you. So if you're having problems with anything and you're using Vista, then that's probably the culprit. I hope an itunes update will fix this. It would suck if this is just apple's way of saying "F.U." to Vista users.
